As an artist, I constantly re-evaluate my morals and perceptions to rid myself of certain biases ingrained in society. I like to address these principles and aim to create a discussion surrounding this with my work. I’m often found conveying this through painting, digital formats and textiles.
‘We All Got Left Behind’ is a piece about seeking acknowledgement and being seen. I made several mini dolls created from stuffed tights, stripped of any identifiers, then united them all as one. The doll appears obvious in its environment at first, but is forgotten in the world.
