My practice as an artist is rooted within striving to understand the human condition. I work with themes that are intimate, personal, and often uncomfortable, such as childhood, sanctuary, and psychology. Within my recent works I have expanded into digital, mixed media, and conceptual installation, focusing on viewer perception.
In this concept I have focused on relaying the experience of being a victim giving evidence in a court of justice. The location displays a procedure that is both impartial and invasive, with a public display intensifying the lack of privacy. It creates an atmosphere that is disturbing and uncomfortable.
