I use these techniques to understand restrictive systems like capitalism, gender roles and more intimate ideas such as the subconscious.

We live in a society where commodification and value invariably omnipresent, societies meaning of value has shifted from being to having to appearing. Salt symbolised traditional value (the word ‘salary’ derived from salt). Historically, people were estimated in terms of salt ‘Salt of the earth’, ‘Worth his salt’.
